Green Protocol is a mission-driven development and impact platform working at the intersection of philanthropy, policy, and advisory. We exist to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through inclusive, community-centered, and impact-led initiatives across emerging economies.
Our work is rooted in the belief that sustainable development must be both locally grounded and globally aligned. We collaborate with governments, development partners, foundations, and communities to co-create solutions that address systemic social, economic, and environmental challenges, ensuring that no one is left behind.

With over a decade of experience bridging policy analysis and grassroots implementation, Deborah leads Green Protocol's strategic vision. Her expertise in climate finance and institutional strengthening has driven major policy shifts in the region, focusing on practical, scalable solutions for sustainable development.

2019
Green Protocol Founded
Began operations in Q4, launching integrated work across climate action, clean energy, and sustainable development in Nigeria.
2023
First Published Research
Released the White Paper on Net Metering Policies and the Roadmap to Guide the Nigerian Climate Change Fund, establishing Green Protocol's policy research foundation.
2024
Expanded Research & Global Engagement
Published the Nigeria Energy Pathway Analysis and Decarbonization Planning in Nigeria, while representing Nigeria's climate work on the international stage.
2025
Youth Programmes & Climate Finance Milestones
Launched the Youth for Climate Action Small Grants Programme, funding 4 youth-led organisations, and supported the Nigeria Climate Change Fund's stakeholder engagement toward operationalization.
2026
International Expansion to France
Entered Europe's sustainable finance ecosystem, positioning Green Protocol to support ESG-aligned climate advisory across the Europe–Africa corridor.
